Our Story

Poole Printmakers was founded in 1991 by John Liddell, a well known printmaker/teacher, and a group of enthusiastic local printmakers.

The cooperative provides a workshop and forum for print makers in the Wessex area whose work is shown regularily in local gallery venues.

The membership includes experienced printmakers as well as those learning their craft.

The workshop contains presses and facilities for safe and solar etching, other intaglio processes, lithography, lino and wood printing, letterpress, and silkscreen printing.

The workshop also hosts programmes for those with special needs as will as open sesssions for members and non members

We have a regular programme of exhibitions thoughout the Wessex area and venues in the last two years have included The Atrium Gallery at Bournemouth University and the White House Gallery in Portland.
