Dorset Arts Week (DAW) 2008

Poole Print Makers' Dorset Arts Weeks exhibition made use of our printing workshop in 5 Bowling Green Alley in the historic centre of Old Poole. The workshop has recently been upgraded to provide a large, well lit, excellent display area and members were invited to submit work for show and sale during DAW. There was always a member on hand to show visitors round and answer questions and many of the 320 visitors saw printing work in progress.

Solo Exhbitions at the Workshop

Just priior to DAW Joy Shepherd had a selection of her works on show at the workshop. She was the first member to be invited to hang her work for a six week period in a section of the new display area and this opportunity is now being offered to other members.. At present John Sargeaunt is showing a selection of his prints made over the last six years and this exhibition can be seen until 26 July. The picture shows a part of this exhibition
