Enjoy a weekend exploring the safe and inexpensive technique of collagraph printmaking.
A collagraph plate can be made in the manner of a collage; gluing everyday materials, leaves, textured papers or string on to a stiff card support, then sealing in preparation for running through an etching press on dampened paper.
Equally the card can be brushed with glue, sand, talcum powder then rubbed, scratched or drawn into to create more painterly marks.
Explore a wide range of materials and create your own unique collagraph print/s.
Suitable for complete beginners or more experienced printmakers.

In my printmaking I combine traditional methods of etching alongside those
less conventional techniques in which the corrosive nature of etching itself often
causes process and subject matter to merge.
